Garin “G” Bailey – Artist & Creative Visionary
Hello! I’m Garin Bailey, but those close to me just call me “G.” My love for art began in the second grade when my classmates and I started creating our own comic books. With encouragement from our teacher, we dove into drawing guides and comics by Stan Lee, sparking a passion that would follow me through life.
In middle school, my art teacher, Cleveland Artist and educator Mr. Lawrence Baker, recognized my dedication and recommended me for the Cleveland School of the Arts. I was nervous about auditioning, but I passed and began an immersive journey into the world of visual arts. From photography and life drawing to sculpture and mixed media, I honed my craft under the guidance of incredible instructors and artists like Mrs. Anne Rybak, Mr. Danny Carver, Mr. Michelangelo Lovelace, Ms. Anna Arnold, Mrs. Toni Starinsky, SANO, Mr. Scott Sykes, and Mr. Andrew Hamlett. Their lessons in discipline, observation, and mastering fundamentals shaped my artistic foundation.
During high school, I attended summer programs at the Cleveland Institute of Art, explored editorial art through The Plain Dealer’s student workshop, and was recognized by the Cleveland Graphic Arts Council. My work even caught the attention of The Plain Dealer for an article about inner-city artists breaking stereotypes.

Life’s responsibilities led me to shift paths, but I continued freelance work—creating album covers, flyers, and clothing designs. In 2004, I stepped into the world of IT and computer graphics, balancing my artistic passion with technical skills.
Even in the Navy, art found me. I designed division flags, morale patches, and custom souvenirs, seeing my work proudly worn and displayed by fellow service members. After my honorable discharge in 2020, my wife and I started The Mobile Paint Lab LLC, an art therapy infused creative experience specializing in mobile paint and sip parties, custom paint events, and team-building experiences. We provide all the supplies, guided artistic instruction, and party vibes brought directly to you.
