Jeff Suntala

Jeff is a lifelong Cleveland area illustrator/watercolorist and 1981 graduate of the Cooper School of Art. With the advent of the computer came a whole new way of creating commercial art, which resulted in a longing to return to the analog real deal of paint on paper.
Plein air watercolor painting has been his passion for the past several years. Simplifying and organizing the sensory overload one receives in the field is a constant struggle and the challenge never gets old. Jeff currently freelances as an illustrator from his home studio and sketches or paints plein air when the opportunity arises.
