MATTMATT RAYBEAM

Matthew Thompson, known as MATTMATT RAYBEAM, is a poet, singer-songwriter, record producer, and filmmaker from Bedford Heights, Ohio. Matthew released his debut mixtape FAGGOT RADIO: The Death Tape in 2021. In 2023, he dropped a three-part demo series: LAST 3 DAYS ON RYAN’S COUCH, 1 YEAR IN MOM’S APARTMENT, and PRAY FOR ME. Since 2018, he’s produced four films A Study of Him (2018), F****T RADIO: The Live Presentation (2023), A Love Joke (2024), and Notes on Black Fame (2025). Matthew graduated with a Master of Fine Arts degree from The New School. He is a Lambda Literary Fellow, and is published in Bomb Magazine, Juked Poetry, Winter Tangerine Review, The Seventh Wave Magazine and more. Matthew has presented work and performed across the U.S and internationally at Lincoln Center, Pratt Institute, Godsbanen and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. His website is mattmattraybeam.com.
