Cleveland’s Forgotten Composer, Guitar Hero, and Abolitionist, Justin Holland

Noted as “the first black professional in Cleveland”, this concert remembers the once-celebrated 19th-century guitarist and equal rights activist Justin Holland. Compositions will include Spirituals, Spanish Guitar, and music from two centuries of African American chamber music composers.
