Hingetown Jazz Festival (4th annual)

The Hingetown Jazz Festival, now in its third year, is a free, annual event held on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend (August 30th, 2025) in Cleveland’s vibrant Hingetown/Ohio City neighborhood. Our mission is to celebrate Northeast Ohio’s rich jazz community by showcasing talented local and regional artists, from skilled veterans to emerging talents. The festival takes place across multiple venues, making live jazz accessible to the entire community.

In our first year we attracted about 600 attendees. Last year we had well over 1,000 attendees

A core tenet of the festival is inclusivity. By remaining free and open to the public, we aim to ensure everyone can experience this celebration of music and culture. We are proud to have the support of community partners like Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) , Cleveland State University , and The Music Settlement. Furthermore, starting this year, we are excited to provide new performance opportunities specifically for young student musicians, fostering the next generation of local talent.

This year’s festival is presented under the fiscal sponsorship of Open Tone Music, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing access to premier music education and performance programming for all people. We invite you to learn more about the festival at www.hingetownjazzfest.org.
