"Music by Latin and North American Composers"

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the program includes a variety of selections by well-known, as well as little-known, Latin and North American composers in a lively format. Hear exciting and passionate performances by international cast of musicians that includes top award-winners from local conservatories.

These composers have created some exciting music in the chamber repertoire. Some of the Latin American composers featured in the program include Manuel Ponce, Ernesto Lecuona, Carlos Guastavino, and Hector Villa-Lobos. North American composers include George Gershwin and Louis Moreau Gottschalk. Original dance choreography will accompany the music by Gershwin.

The concert will be followed by a Meet the Artists reception.
