One World Day 2026

One World Day celebrates cultural inclusiveness and the Cleveland Cultural Gardens motto of “Peace Through Mutual Understanding”. This free event, hosted by the Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federation, is filled with opportunities for individuals and families to learn about the many cultures that call Northeast Ohio home The day begins with a Naturalization ceremony and a Parade of Flags, followed by music and dance from around the world and authentic ethnic foods throughout the Gardens. With over 50 Gardens established or in the devoplement phase, the Cultural Gardens offers an opportunity to view our diversity in action. We also allow other communities that do not have a Garden to participate and showcase their culture.

Our Passport to Peace program is fun way to learn about the countries and cultures of the world and meet members of our Gardens communities. This activity is a learning exercise for children to gain a better understanding of the different ethnic group and offers a prize at the end.
