Above the Barre Dance & Gymnastics is seeking experienced, enthusiastic instructors to join our growing teaching team for the upcoming season. For more than 23 years, Above the Barre has served families throughout Northeast Ohio through dance, gymnastics, performing arts, and movement education. With two locations in Berea, our programs range from early childhood and recreational classes to competitive gymnastics and advanced dance training.

Current Opportunities

• Contemporary

• Musical Theatre
• Early Childhood Dance & Gymnastics
• Acro, Tumbling & Cheer
• Recreational & Competitive Gymnastics
• Ninja
• Aerial Silks & Cirque

What We’re Looking For

Ideal candidates are dependable, engaging educators who genuinely enjoy working with children and are committed to creating a positive, professional learning environment. Previous teaching, coaching, performance, or training experience is preferred. However, Above the Barre is also open to developing candidates with a strong movement background who demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and the ability to connect with students.

Candidates should be:

• Comfortable teaching and working with children ages 2+
• Reliable, punctual, and communicative
• Knowledgeable in their area of instruction
• Enthusiastic about continued learning and professional development
• Able to maintain a positive and structured classroom environment
• Committed to Above the Barre’s training and safety standards
