Started in 2022, with the idea of an Arts center capable of housing the extensive collection of art and historically important works. Most of 2022 was devoted to amassing the collection into one location, with the result being the purchase of the 1904 Andrew Carnegie Library (first built in Cleveland). Extensive renovation and preparation was accomplished into 2023.Exhibits were designed and built and installed throughout the fall with a soft opening scheduled in mid-November. Final work on the theater space nearly completed, making it performance ready by year end. Artist and arts groups were introduced to the Center and a number of projects and collaborations were planned for 2024. Over the past six months the space has been used by musicians, non profits groups. youth groups and small theater. A safe place the Center hosted the first Pride festival in Slavic Village and continues to engage the community.
