Colors+ Drag Story Time

Colors+ Drag Story Time, offered the 2nd Saturday of every month at Colors+ Youth Center, invites children of all ages and their families to listen to stories of diversity, inclusion, and celebration read by our glamorous and inspirational Drag Performers!

Drag Story Time is affirming and validating fun for people of all ages, where youth can learn and celebrate diversity and inclusion. Positive messages within books aim to break the stigma of diverse gender roles and end expression stereotypes. The stories read at Drag Story Hour reflect a variety of cultures, families, and identities, and invite children to ask questions and share personal stories in a safe, encouraging environment. The one-hour story time will present 2-3 different books read by 1-2 local Drag Performers, and includes music and movement! Join us and celebrate YOU!

All ages are welcome and encouraged to attend! This program is FREE for all.
