The Rebirth of Innocence

Through luminous figurative paintings, The Rebirth of Innocence explores themes of hope, healing, and renewal. Rich with symbols of water, flowers, butterflies, and light, the exhibition invites viewers to slow down and reconnect with the wonder, grace, and resilience that remain within us throughout our lives. Based in Ibadan, Nigeria, Tim Light creates contemporary paintings that blend powerful storytelling with spiritual symbolism. His distinctive use of lime-green highlights has become a signature of his work, representing life, transformation, and the strength of the human spirit. His paintings have been exhibited internationally, including at Sotheby’s African Modern and Contemporary Art Auction in London.
