Oh Sew Powerful

Oh Sew Powerful, Inc. offers the community FREE, hands-on, cross-generational programs that allow participants to advance their artistic and creative skills through SEWING. This promotes positive emotional and mental health, healthy aging, and overall well-being. Participants rapidly evolve into sewing artists – SEWISTS – while engaging in immersive fiber arts activities. Each sewist receives all the necessary materials, tools, equipment, and supplies to craft exceptional fiber art pieces, whether for personal use or as gifts—ranging from pin cushions to pajama pants, hats, and home decor. We are committed to promoting the reuse and upcycling of fiber products to prevent them from reaching landfills, extending their lifecycle. Additionally, we repurpose scrap fibers to craft community art quilts, which are then donated for public display. Come join us!
